I'm Sanjay Sathyanarayanan, a software engineer who enjoys turning ideas into practical applications. I work across application development, backend systems and databases, with an interest in designing reliable solutions, solving problems and continuously improving how software is built.

I'm a Computer Science and Engineering graduate with a genuine curiosity about how technology works. I enjoy understanding problems, exploring ideas and turning them into practical software solutions.
My interests span different areas of software engineering, including application development, backend systems, databases and system design. I enjoy going beyond simply using technologies to understand the concepts, design decisions and engineering principles behind them.
Outside my professional work, I build independent projects that challenge me to think through real-world requirements, technical trade-offs and application architecture. From full-stack applications to exploring emerging technologies, each project gives me an opportunity to learn, experiment and become a better engineer.

ACCENTURE
Associate Software Engineer
Contributing to application modernization and maintenance in an enterprise environment supporting 200+ applications, with exposure to Java runtime upgrades, CI/CD deployments, production monitoring and post-deployment validation.
- Support application migration activities from Java 8, Java 11 and Java 17 to Java 21, including deployment, compatibility checks and post-migration validation.
- Work with Harness CI/CD pipelines to support application upgrades, releases and redeployments.
- Monitor application traffic, failure rates and distributed traces using Dynatrace; investigate logs in Dynatrace Grail and validate application behaviour using Postman.
